DentalSmart recently selected the Henry Schein Dentrix Enterprise practice management solution after using a more limited software. With Dentrix, they decided to go directly to the cloud instead of investing in 2-3 servers and internal infrastructure at a cost of more than $25,000, which did not include support and maintenance costs. ClearDATA implemented DentalSmart’s Dentrix Enterprise software into the cloud at its datacenter in approximately two weeks, which is the average amount of time.

Additionally, because the cloud model is so efficient, DentalSmart plans to begin hosting its email servers, Web site servers, accounting, internal storage, and other day-to-day functions in the ClearDATA cloud as well. .
