Scribes STAT to Provide Certified Medical Scribes to Valley Emergency Physicians Medical Group at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale, CA

Portland, OR – November 6, 2011: Scribes STAT, Inc. the premier provider of certified medical scribes who deliver accurate, real-time electronic medical records for emergency physicians and targeted specialty physicians, today announced an agreement with Valley Emergency Physicians Medical Group (VEP) to provide certified Medical Scribe services at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale, CA beginning in January 2012. Certified Medical Scribes will be utilized to provide real-time assistance with the completion of the patient’s electronic medical record under the supervision of the attending physicians in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Scribes STAT services include delivering real-time electronic medical records for physicians.  Physicians working with a Medical Scribe can significantly reduce the amount of time spent on charting, thus allowing more time spent with patients. Medical Scribes will be deployed in the emergency department of Glendale Adventist Medical Center, which is one of Valley Emergency Physicians Medical Group’s 35 hospitals, located throughout California, New Mexico, Tennessee and Texas.
