I’ve been collecting a number of the various matrixes that people have put together around the EMR meaningful use criteria. I’m sure there are a number of meaningful use matrixes/reviews that I’m missing. If you know of one not listed, please leave the link to it in the comments and I’ll add them to the post. I’d like to get as many as possible so that I can use them to provide my own feedback on the meaningful use objectives. Ok, here’s the start to my list:

HIT News’ List of Meaningful Use Objectives
HISTalk Meaningful Use Matrix (excel file download)
Vitalize Meaningful Use Matrix
Health IT Now Meaningful Use Matrix (PDF)
Galen Healthcare Meaningful Use Matrix (wiki page)
Software Advice Meaningful Use Matrix

Ok, what other ones am I missing? I’d like to make this as complete a list as possible.

      John,

Great topic! I think it is tough for folks to keep track with the seemingly endless amount of meaningful use matrices out there. We built our matrix (http://wiki.galenhealthcare.com/Meaningful_Use_Matrix) off of HIS, and tried to provide insight to C-level decision-makers by highlighting which functionality is built-in to the EHR, as well as breaking out effort for a 50-provider organization based upon category (training, implementation, technical, etc.). Please also see a blog article touching on this topic: http://blog.galenhealthcare.com/2010/01/07/estimated-effort-to-exhibit-meaningful-use/

Thanks Justin. That’s an interesting way to look at the matrix. Thanks for sharing.

      Hi John,

I’ve created a matrix over at Software Advice’s Medical blog:

      Hope you find it useful.

      Hi John,

Apologies for being off-topic, but has anyone started a Web site to track which Regional Extension Centers are operating in which areas of the country? It might be worth having a similar blog posting on that subject as well.

      Chris,
Thanks. I’ve added it to the list.

      Bill,
I haven’t seen a list of places yet. In fact, I haven’t seen anyone awarded the contracts either. So, I’ve created a new page on the EMR and HIPAA wiki for people to submit when they find info: http://emrandhipaa.com/w/index.php?title=EHR_Regional_Extension_Centers&action=edit&redlink=1 Feel free to make a contribution if you know information about them.
