Great Emails Make You Want to Keep EMR Blogging

I was cleaning out my email and came across the following email:

I am enjoying your website!

Keep up the good work. We all need to keep the vision alive.

What a great email. Sometimes you wonder how many people are really finding what you write useful. I’ve created a decent body of work on this website. There’s certainly much more that I could do if I just committed a little more time.

In honor of this email I’m planning on “keeping the vision alive” and committing a little more time to enhancing EMR and most importantly EMR implementations.

      We are reading them. I get a majority of the information I need to keep up with what’s happening from hitsphere.com, where I saw your post. Which I forwarded to our HIM director to let her know about your site. Which she shared with her manager. HIT news sites are good but blogs are an excellent compliment to them, more dynamic. Please keep it up.

      I think that there are two views points to be considered when strongly advocating the use of EMR in practices. For a Doctor it needs to easy to use and save time so that more time can be spend on the patient. Currently we have many vendors with different types of EMR that are so hard to use that it simply puts them off. I think healthcare technology companies need to develop product after regular interaction with doctors to ensure that they provide just what is required. At binaryspectrum we have developed our healthcare solutions after spending countless number of hours with doctors to ensure that its work flow is kept simple and intuitive. This is then followed up with a period of Beta testing in real time environment before it is offered as a product in the market.
