I’m really happy to welcome a new advertiser to EMR and HIPAA: Plextra EHR. They have an interesting offering for doctors to be beta testers of their EHR Lite product and get the EHR software for free. It’s pretty interesting to see how all the various EHR vendors are working to get their EHR software to market.

I’m also really happy to say that 5 other advertisers renewed their advertising on EMR and HIPAA: EHR Scope, EMR Consultant, MyEMRChoice, MxSecure, and Sequelmed. It makes me feel good when advertisers renew since that usually means they’re getting some real value from the advertising on this site. My hope is that it’s a win for everyone involved.

I’m finalizing a few more EMR and HIPAA advertisers right now and close to adding my first advertiser on my sister site EMR and EHR. I’m also working on a few other partnerships that I think will provide some value to readers. I’m also working on some e-books, a conference and today I was thinking a webinar might be useful. We’ll see how it evolves over time. It’s an exciting time in the EMR world.

I’m also got an invitation to be part of a “Meet the Bloggers” session at HIMSS 10 in Atlanta in March. I think that could be a lot of fun. So, if you’re planning on attending HIMSS, I look forward to seeing you there.
